In the blink of an eye, the kingdom has flourished and thrived beneath their caring guidance. However, not every descendant has been drawn to these magical lands. Guidebook
Respect
This is one of the biggest rules we have here. Treat everyone as you would like to be treated. We will not tolerate any bullying or disrespect of any kind. We understand that not everyone will get along with on another and we can't force anyone to become best friends when their personalities clash.
However, we as staff do ask that if one is having problems with another member that they come to us right away. We feel like it would be better if a neutral party should be involved so nothing escalates further.
LGBTQ
Here at Wicked Legacy, we are fully supportive of the LGBTQ community and will not tolerate any kind of disrespectful behavior or vulgar attitude outside of character plots. While there is not much that can be done about a character's attitude towards certain people, but we can deal with people who act like this outside of character plotting.
No matter how it looks at the end of the day we are all human beings, and words can and will hurt those around you. Anyone who breaks this rule will get a single warning; however, if one continues to show the same attitude, then they will be permanently banned.
Possessive
This is a word not something we like to see someone labeled as. Of course, we're not saying that friends shouldn't roleplay together; however, what we do not appreciate here are those who won't let their partner branch out. Unless it deals with a character's plotline, then we do not want nor wish to see someone being held back from playing with other members.
Word Count
We do not have a word count, but we do expect our members to have the same courtesy that if someone gives your a paragraph, then it's not followed with just a single one liner. Wicked Legacy looks for characters to interact with one another through sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste.
It helps bring out the interactions more! We do ask that there is no pestering for threads or plotting between characters to be done between members, as most do not feel comfortable in being pressured by others. As staff, we do ask that players please be considerate when roleplaying with others.
Godmodding/Power Playing
Please be aware of the terms power playing/godmodding, mary sue, and metagaming. In terms of power playing/godmodding, it is the simple terms of your character belongs to you while thread partner(s) characters belong to them. Be careful within your threading that you are not taking control of your partner's character without their permission, and without that permission it can be seen as you're trying to take control of them.
In terms of this, you want permission from your partner to control that character first, and if you feel like you're overstepping in the thread, then check in with your partner! As they always say, it's always better to be safe than sorry. Metagaming is pretty much a character that suddenly knows things that they shouldn't automatically know.
It's different if this information is plotted beforehand between players, but there shouldn't be any instance that a character should know everything about another character that isn't basic knowledge. This is what we call a separation between ooc and icc knowledge, and our basic term for saying that no one knows it all.
Face Claims
Here at Wicked Legacy, we only allow for celebrity portrayals: models, actors, musicians, and verified influencers are among the list that you can use. There are several tumblr face claim helpers that can be found, but if you ever need ideas, then please don't hesitate to contact either staff or reply on the discord for possible face claim ideas. However, we will not be allowing for the faces of children of ages 16 and younger.
False Reporting
False Reporting is not appreciated here within Wicked Legacy, and while most might not hear about things like this happening a lot; however, it unfortunately does happen upon other sites. This is to give both reassurance, and give a rule upon both staff and members. While everyone does joke around on how they wished they have used this face, or taken this canon (especially if they were already taken). However, false reporting will never be done on this site.
Reason as why this is being brought up is due to the fact that some have gone through this, and such behavior will result in an immediate ban from the site. False reporting could include, but not limited to: reports of being uncomfortable, stealing, plagiarism, harassment, and mental abuse. We are not asking you to never make a report if someone does indeed make you uncomfortable, but we do ask that at least proof is shown as in receipts: screenshots of the conversation.
Activity
Real life comes first! If you need to take a couple of days off that is completely fine! However, please be sure to at least write an LoA in the LoA section of the discord. Currently, we do not hold any AC aka Activity Checks as of right now. Though that doesn't mean that myself {Serpent} or Sin won't change this to where we feel there is a need for it.

Banter Forums/Channels are for one-liners to a paragraph. They are merely for fun. Other forums that don't have banter on them we do ask that you at least write 1 to 2 paragraphs. If you do a second post, please add ndy for not don't yet at the end of your 1st post, and then f for finished at the end of the 2nd post.
